Chhavi Mathur is a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Development Studies, Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur. She holds a Master’s degree in Geography from Sophia Girls’ College (Autonomous), Ajmer, where she received the Gold Medal for academic excellence. Her research spans environmental geography, cultural and social geography, indigenous knowledge systems, and sustainable development. Her publications include book chapters and peer-reviewed articles with established academic publishers such as Bloomsbury, Springer Nature, and Communication Today. Her interdisciplinary approach integrates traditional knowledge systems, including folk practices and yogic disciplines, with contemporary sustainability challenges. She is actively involved in academic and community outreach, organizing expert lectures and volunteering with NGOs. She also contributes to educational initiatives as a freelance educator and participates in faculty development programs, panel discussions, and seminars. Ms. Mathur is an annual member of the National Association of Geographers, India, and serves as Associate Coordinator for the ISRO Outreach Program at Vivekananda Global University. Proficient in GIS and Remote Sensing, she combines technological skills with humanistic insights. A published poet, she brings a creative dimension to her scholarly work
