Samiksha Mathur is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Law at Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, India. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Rajasthan and a postgraduate degree from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, where she was awarded a gold medal in International Criminal Law. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD from Manipal University Jaipur, focusing on the responsibility of international organizations in global health emergencies. Throughout her academic journey, Samiksha has actively contributed to the field of legal academia. She has presented papers at various national and international conferences, showcasing her expertise and insights into legal issues. Also, her research contributions extend to reputable journals, where she has published papers on topics of significance within her areas of interest. Samiksha’s keen interest in research and love for public international law have led her to find answers to complex issues encircling international law and to provide functional solutions from a global south viewpoint. Apart from international law, Ms. Mathur takes an avid interest in areas of jurisprudence, human rights law, and air & space law.
