Dr. Kajal Thakuriya

BIO

I am a practicing interior designer, an artist, and an academician with 25 years of experience in the field. I graduated in humanities with a focus on fine arts, pursued a master's degree in interior design and fine arts , and completed a Ph.D. in Contemporary Architectural Murals. Throughout my career, I have worked at various prestigious institutes as an academician. Currently serving as the Head of Department (HOD) in the design department, my approach to work is multidisciplinary. I am actively involved in industry connections for academic endeavors and employ practical-based teaching pedagogy, leveraging my strong industry background. I am designated as the IIIC in charge and am an active associate and affiliated member of several professional bodies and organizations such as IIID, IPA, ADI, RFI, etc. My philosophy revolves around the belief in learning by doing and conducting research-oriented projects. I am committed to the growth of every stakeholder within the department, fostering both departmental and individual development within the code family.
