BIO

Dr. Poonam Kumari is Assistant Professor - Department of Basic & Applied Science at VGU University. She received her PhD in Chemistry from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur. She worked on the CMPDI project at IIT BHU (Varanasi). Her research interest in Nanocarbon synthesis with various morphologies (Carbon nano Onions, graphene & graphene aerogels) and their application in wastewater treatment (Adsorption & photocatalysis), Quantum Dot synthesis and metal ions detection

Academic Degrees - Ph.D in Chemistry from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur. M. Sc in Organic Chemistry from S.S. Jain Subodh Girls College, B.Sc from Sekhawati College, Sikar.

Research Interests -

  • Nanocarbon synthesis with various morphologies (Carbon nano Onions, graphene & graphene aerogels) and their application in wastewater treatment (Adsorption & photocatalysis), Quantum Dot synthesis and metal ions detection
