BIO

As an Assistant Professor in the field of textile design, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to both the classroom and the research lab. With a background in academia and practical exposure to the textile industry, I am positioned to offer students a comprehensive understanding of this dynamic field. In my role, I am dedicated to fostering a stimulating learning environment where students can explore their creativity and delve into the complexities of textile design. Whether it's discussing the rich traditions of Indian textiles or exploring cutting-edge sustainable fashion practices, I strive to make learning engaging and relevant. My experience extends beyond the classroom as well. With a year spent in the textile industry, I have 5 years experience in academics also. I've gained valuable insights into industry practices and emerging trends. I bring these real-world perspectives into my teaching, enriching students' understanding of how their academic learning translates into practical applications. Moreover, my commitment to research is evident in my publications in esteemed journals, where I've delved into topics ranging from traditional textiles to eco-friendly fashion. I encourage my students to embark on their own research journeys, guiding them through the process and nurturing their academic growth.
