BIO

Mr. Rafeeq is an Assistant Professor in Agricultural Extension and Communication at Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur. His passion for agriculture and extension activities has led him to a fulfilling career in teaching. He thrives on communication and enjoys connecting with farmers to share his knowledge of new technologies and advancements in the field. He is actively involved in the university’s NSS program and welcomes opportunities to collaborate, network, and share insights with fellow professionals who share his passion for Agricultural Extension and Communication.

Professional Experience -

  • Krishi Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram (2018): Undergone 45 days of training under the Government of Kerala, involving fieldwork and experiential learning in progressive farmers’ fields.
  • Hands-on Training (2017–2018): Cultivation of field crops (wheat, maize, rice), cole crops (cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli), and vegetables (eggplant, okra, tomato).
  • Adaptive Trials (2018): Conducted adaptive trials of cucumber and tomato crops on Indian farmlands.
  • RAWE: Completed 90 days of Rural Agricultural Work Experience, including a survey using a well-structured interview schedule.
  • Postgraduate Thesis: “Current Scenario Analysis of the Status and Livelihood Pattern of Tribes Living in the Biodiversity Zone of Nilgiri District, Tamil Nadu.”
  • National Integration Camp (2022): Participated under the National Service Scheme, New Delhi.
